Kuma Foundation Supporting Cyberbullying Awareness Month

Please join the Kuma foundation in the conversation about cyberbullying during October 2019, National Cyberbullying Awareness Month. We have invited several advocates to speak with us about their personal experiences with cyberbullying and will be posting their stories throughout the month.

  • Ashley has been a victim of cyberbullying but uses her experience to help others – Watch Ashley’s story below:

  • Anna is Ashley’s mother, and she shares how cyberbullying affected her as a parent.

  • Nancy Willard is the author of “Be Positively Powerful: An Empowerment Plan for Teens Who Are Bullied or Harassed” and wrote the first book on the topic of cyberbullying.

We at the Kuma Foundation encourage you to post your own stories about cyberbullying this month and to spread kindness in your own social networks and communities.

We challenge you to use technology to empower others by promoting positivity in your own posts and by leaving meaningful comments on others posts!
